A quick observation:
I think your Halloween costume says something about you.
More specifically, I think it says something about the kind of romance you read.
I have absolutely no scientific evidence to support this theory. (Note: this has never stopped me before.)
🎃 What Your Halloween Costume Says About Your Romance-Reading Habits
🧙♀️ WITCH
You like competent women, questionable decisions, and men smart enough not to underestimate either.
🧛 VAMPIRE
Morally gray is not a warning.
It’s a recommendation.
👸 PRINCESS
You want the dress, the fantasy, and the man who knows you can save yourself—but shows up anyway.
🦸 SUPERHERO
Competence is your love language.
Bonus points if they save each other.
🐈⬛ BLACK CAT
You’re independent. You don’t need anyone.
You have, however, become inexplicably attached to one fictional man.
👻 GHOST
You came for the suspense.
You stayed for the unresolved sexual tension.
😈 DEVIL
You clicked the wrong author’s newsletter.
Edyn is down the hall. 😂
As for me, mine would probably be some combination of woman holding a book + woman holding a margarita + woman yelling at fictional people to stop going places alone.
And speaking of people who really should know better than to wander around when something suspicious is happening…
🎃 Halloween is coming to the Storm Series.
MASKS & MURDERS
I couldn’t resist sending the Storm crew back into trouble again—this time with costumes, masks, Halloween festivities, and (because apparently nobody at Ivory Sands is allowed to have a perfectly normal vacation), murder.
Halloween is coming to Mimosa Cay. And this year, the island is listening.
Aurora Tygers came home to rebuild her life—not inherit an island legend. But when a centuries-old relic disappears from Ivory Sands during the resort’s Halloween festivities, the search leads her into forgotten tunnels, an approaching storm… and straight into Sheriff Logan Reyes.
Logan believes in evidence. Aurora isn’t sure what she believes anymore—especially when the wind begins answering her.
With a masked ball approaching and someone determined to unlock the Windshell’s power, they’ll have to uncover what was stolen before Halloween night turns an old island legend into something dangerously real.
Masks. Danger. A little magic. And a sheriff who might be exactly what Aurora didn’t know she needed.
Welcome back to Mimosa Cay.
COMING OCTOBER 3 to Kindle Unlimited
Before you go…
I need to know: What are you dressing as this Halloween?
Hit reply and tell me. And if it’s a devil costume, I’m forwarding your email to Edyn. 😈
Bonus points if my completely scientific analysis of your reading habits is accurate.
Until next time,
